Trump announced significant tariffs on EU goods

The United States will impose substantial import tariffs on European Union (EU) goods and will also seek the reversal of fines it has levied against American tech giants.

These statements were made by U.S. President Donald Trump.

"The European Union will pay a very high price for this unlawful and completely unethical behavior, which I have consistently warned them about," he wrote on his Truth Social page, commenting on the fine imposed on Apple.

"The penalties will be fully reversed, and as we expect, a substantial [import] tariff will be imposed on them (EU countries - editor's note) at the earliest appropriate moment," the American leader stated.
