The plane returned to the departure airport because of a passenger who lost their phone

An Air France passenger liner made an unexpected maneuver, turning around in the air after two hours of flight. The reason for the emergency return to the departure airport was a mobile phone of one of the travelers, which was lost on board. This is reported by The Standard.
The incident occurred last week with flight AF750, traveling from Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe). The nine-hour flight to the overseas department of France, located in the Caribbean Sea, was suddenly interrupted due to the disappearance of a mobile device on board the aircraft. At the time of the incident, there were 375 passengers and 12 crew members on board.
According to FlightRadar24 data, the Boeing 777, which departed from Paris Orly Airport at noon local time, made a turn while near the western coast of France. The aircraft commander made this decision as a preventive safety measure after it was discovered that one of the passengers accidentally dropped their phone into a ventilation hole, and the electronic device ended up in an "inaccessible area" of the plane.
The aircraft safely landed at Orly Airport at 15:25. After the necessary procedures, the Boeing 777 set off again for the shores of Guadeloupe just 20 minutes after landing.
