Donald Trump named the obstacle to peace negotiations in Ukraine

"I think we are making progress, but there is a lot of ill will between the parties," he said.

The US President added that there are "many important issues" on the agenda.

"I am doing everything in my power," the Republican noted.

Settling the conflict in Ukraine was one of Trump's campaign promises. After his return to the White House, the United States began negotiations with Russian representatives for the first time since the start of the military operation. In particular, the Republican had two phone conversations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The latest negotiations between the US, Russia, and Ukraine took place in Riyadh on March 23-25.
