Weather in Azerbaijan at the end of March: forecasters predict mudflows and rising water levels in rivers

On March 30-31, variable cloudiness is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, occasionally overcast, mostly without precipitation, with possible fog in some places at night and in the morning.

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, a moderate south-easterly wind will prevail.

The air temperature at night will be 7-10, during the day – 16-21 degrees above zero.

In most regions of Azerbaijan at the end of the month, it will be predominantly without precipitation, however, on March 30 during the day mainly in the mountains, and on the 31st – in some northern and western regions, precipitation is expected at times.

In some places, intense precipitation, thunderstorms, hail, wet snow in high mountainous areas, and occasionally fog are possible. Due to rainy weather, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, with possible mudflows in some mountain rivers. A westerly wind will prevail, occasionally intensifying.

The air temperature at night will be 7-11, during the day – 21-26, in the mountains at night 2-7, during the day – 10-15 degrees above zero.
