The IRGC stated that it shot down another Israeli F-16

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it shot down another – the third – Israeli F16 fighter jet.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing the IRGC press service, the fighter jet was shot down in Iranian skies early this morning by the air defense systems of the Aerospace Force.

"The successful interception and destruction of more than 200 aircraft, including drones, cruise missiles, tanker aircraft, and state-of-the-art enemy fighter jets in the first 3 weeks of the war, demonstrates the increased ability to observe and intercept aggressors in the skies of Iran and the region, as well as the strengthening of the country's air defense," the press service added.

Earlier today, the IDF press service reported that a surface-to-air missile launch targeting an Israeli fighter jet was detected in Iranian airspace. According to the information, the aircraft was not damaged and the mission was carried out according to plan.
