The death toll from the flooding in Nepal has reached 734 people, with earlier reports indicating 675 victims.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced on X by the country's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
"734 bodies have been found," the agency's report states.
In addition, rescuers have managed to evacuate nearly 8,200 people, including 227 foreign nationals.
Meanwhile, nearly 2,500 people are still considered missing, including about 580 foreigners. More than 19,800 security personnel are involved in the rescue operations.
