An armed incident occurred at a school in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş, Turkey.
According to Turkish media, gunshots were fired at Ayşel Çalık secondary school for an unidentified reason.
Numerous police units and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene as quickly as possible.
At the time of the incident, panic broke out in the school and the surrounding area. Law enforcement cordoned off the area and strengthened security measures.
According to preliminary reports, the armed incident resulted in fatalities and injuries. The victims received first aid at the scene before being transported to hospitals.
Police officers are currently continuing investigative and search operations aimed at identifying and apprehending the person or persons who carried out the attack.
