Russian doctors are implementing a new cancer treatment method
Russian medicine is taking a significant step forward in the fight against cancer. On Saturday, February 1, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko announced the implementation of an innovative treatment method - organ transplantation for cancer patients.
According to the head of the department, this promising approach is just beginning to become widespread in global medical practice. The method gains particular significance in the context of treating patients with severe forms of cancer.
"It gives a chance to save the lives of patients with certain types of malignant tumors, including liver lesions," Murashko emphasized during the "We Will Live" award ceremony.
Currently, the method is already being successfully applied in one of the federal centers of the Ministry of Health. Moreover, the department plans to significantly increase the number of such operations this year, opening new opportunities for cancer patients.
