Trump declared that the war between Russia and Ukraine is approaching its end
US President Donald Trump believes that the Russia-Ukraine war is nearing its end.
The American leader made this statement at a rally with supporters at the Sparrows Point shipyard near Baltimore, Maryland.
As local media report, he noted that he continues to work on ending the conflict.
"We haven't finished the war between Russia and Ukraine yet. But I'm working on it. Believe it or not, we're actually getting close to it. Although it doesn't look like it... I thought this would be the easiest thing for me. I got eight wars finished. And this will happen pretty soon too," D. Trump said.
The head of the White House also addressed the situation surrounding Iran. According to him, the US does not need Iranian oil, but other countries do. "The Strait of Hormuz belongs to the American Navy and the United States. That's who it belongs to, that's how things stand now. Nevertheless, we don't need their oil. Others need their oil, they really need it. But we ensure its export. And we're doing it at record levels," D. Trump added.
The American president also stated that Washington has resolved the issue related to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. "That will never happen, never. That deal is already done," he declared.
