President: Armenia must create conditions for the opening of relevant archives and the collection of testimonies
Armenia must provide all information about the fate of missing Azerbaijanis, the locations of mass and individual burial sites, and create conditions for opening the relevant archives and collecting witness testimonies.
As reported by AZERTAC, this is stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the IV International Conference in the Baku Dialogue format on the topic "Building Trust and Developing Effective Mechanisms in Addressing the Issue of Missing Persons."
"This will be a legal obligation and humanitarian responsibility, as well as a practical expression of commitment to peace and a contribution to strengthening mutual trust. Information about the fates of people should not become a subject of political conditionality," the head of state's address noted.
