Ali Nagiyev named the number of missing persons in Azerbaijan
In Azerbaijan, 4,010 people are currently listed as missing, 4,004 of whom went missing during the first Karabakh war, and six more during the second.
As Report informs, this was stated by the head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan, chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Citizens Ali Nagiyev at the IV International Conference on Missing Persons.
The head of the SSS also reported that after the second Karabakh war, 32 mass graves were discovered in the liberated territories. The remains of 253 people were exhumed from these graves.
