Putin: Russia is ready for war with Europe

Europe puts forward proposals for a peace plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, proposed by Washington, that are unacceptable to the Russian Federation.

According to Russian media, Russian President Vladimir Putin made this statement.

The Russian leader, before meeting with US representatives in Moscow, accused Europe of trying to disrupt peace agreements.

"Europe has removed itself from the Ukrainian settlement. It has no peace agenda, and now they are hindering US settlement efforts. Europe is putting forward proposals to the peace plan for Ukraine that are unacceptable to Russia. Russia does not intend to fight with European countries, but if Europe starts a war - Russia is ready right now and then Moscow will have no one to negotiate with," Putin said.

At the same time, he allowed for the return of Europeans to negotiations on Ukraine if they "take into account the realities on the ground."
