Pashinyan announced the date for the referendum on amendments to the Constitution
The new Constitution of Armenia should be adopted after the upcoming parliamentary elections in June next year.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Interfax," this was announced by the Prime Minister of the republic, Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting with civil servants.
"It is important that the referendum on the adoption of the new Constitution be held after the parliamentary elections of 2026. This is necessary so that political forces can communicate their position on this issue to the public, and the position of the force that has already received the majority of votes will be decisive in the formation of the draft new Constitution," he said.
