As reported by Oxu.Az, this was announced by the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.

"On October 23 at about 18:00, the Lithuanian Air Force recorded a violation of the state border in the Kibartai area (a city on the border with the Kaliningrad region): a Russian Su-30 aircraft and an Il-78 refueling aircraft, possibly conducting refueling exercises in the Kaliningrad region, entered Lithuanian airspace by approximately 700 meters and, after staying in Lithuanian airspace for about 18 seconds, left it," the statement says.

"In response to the incident, two Eurofighter Typhoon fighters of the Spanish Air Force performing the NATO air patrol mission were scrambled to the site of the violation," the ministry added.

They stated that NATO fighters "are currently carrying out air patrols."
