Two unknown individuals broke into the museum of Napoleon's Last Headquarters in the Belgian commune of Genappe and stole several items from the collection.
This was reported by the RTBF television channel.
According to their information, the incident occurred on the night of December 17-18. Among the missing items were a gold ring with diamonds that belonged to Napoleon himself, and gold and silver coins from the Napoleonic era.
An investigation has been launched into the theft.
