Russia's demands regarding security guarantees for itself are absurd.
As reported by Interfax-Ukraine, this was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tykhyi, at a briefing in Kyiv.
"I have a question: security guarantees for Russia from what? From itself? Well, this is absurd," Tykhyi emphasized.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia needs security guarantees. His press secretary Dmitry Peskov clarified that such guarantees should be "legally documented."
