Iran reacted negatively to the US proposal for ending the conflict in the Middle East and put forward its own demands in response.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Iranian television channel PressTV.

"There are a number of specific conditions under which Iran would agree to end the war. A complete cessation of aggression and killings by the adversary and the establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure that the war against the Islamic Republic would not be resumed," PressTV wrote, citing an unnamed Iranian official.

According to the source, there are five conditions in total. In addition, Iran demands compensation from Washington for war damages, an end to the war on all fronts for all participating parties, and international recognition of Iran's authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

He added that Tehran would not act on US instructions and would decide to end the war only if the listed conditions were met. The US peace proposals, which have been reaching Iran through various channels, are significantly "detached from reality."

The New York Times reported on March 25 that the US had sent a 15-point peace plan to Iran through Pakistan. It was specified that the proposed plan covers aspects related to the Islamic Republic's missile and nuclear programs, as well as freedom of navigation.
