The date and location of US-Iran negotiations have been announced
Negotiations between the US and Iran on the nuclear program and the settlement of the situation in the Middle East may take place this coming weekend.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
"I think the negotiations could take place this weekend in Islamabad, Pakistan," Grossi said. According to him, this time the agenda will be broader and will include issues of missile programs, formations allied with Tehran, as well as security guarantees for Iran.
The IAEA chief suggested that the upcoming meeting will be devoted not only to nuclear energy and the causes of the conflict, but also to a wider range of problems related to security in the region.
Earlier, the official spokesperson for the central headquarters of the "Khatam al-Anbiya" military command, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, stated that Iran would begin negotiations with the US exclusively on its own initiative.
"This will shall arise when the thought of acting against the Iranian people is completely cleansed from your dirty mind. Our first and last word from the very first day was, is, and will be as follows: people like us will never negotiate with the likes of you," the military official explained.
