Lavrov: NATO is seriously preparing for war with Russia

The statements of European leaders, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, indicate that they are seriously preparing for war against Russia.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov at a press conference summarizing the activities of Russian diplomacy in 2025.

"If you read the statements of European politicians, leaders - including Kaja Kallas, Ursula von der Leyen, [Friedrich] Merz, [Keir] Starmer, [Emmanuel] Macron, Rutte, they are seriously preparing for war against the Russian Federation, and, frankly speaking, they don't hide it," said the head of Russian diplomacy.

Lavrov drew attention to the fact that the position of the Russian Federation on Ukraine "in a nutshell is about the need to eliminate the root causes of this crisis."
