Journalist who called Macron's wife a man will sue the first lady

A high-profile defamation case has taken an unexpected turn in the French capital. Journalist Natacha Rey, previously convicted for controversial statements about the French president's wife, is preparing to file a counter-lawsuit in Paris court against Brigitte Macron.
As revealed in an exclusive interview with RIA Novosti by the journalist's lawyer François Danglehant, the defense intends to challenge the legality of previous court decisions.
"We will file a complaint with the investigating judge in Paris against those involved in Rey's conviction in this fraudulent verdict, including judges from the Caen Court of Appeal and the Court of Cassation," stated the defense lawyer.
The list of defendants in the upcoming lawsuit will include Brigitte Macron-Trogneux, her brother Jean-Michel Trogneux, their lawyer, and three judges whom the defense accuses of falsifying the judicial process.
