Iran's state television confirmed the death of Khamenei

Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei has been killed.

This information was confirmed by the state television of the Islamic Republic.

"Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei has been martyred," the message published on the state television's Telegram channel states.

It is noted that the Iranian government has declared a 40-day mourning period in connection with the death of the Supreme Leader.

Non-working days have been declared across the country for seven days.
