France is ready to send troops to Ukraine if necessary
France is ready, if necessary, to deploy troops in Ukraine in 2026 as part of security guarantees.
According to BFMTV, this was stated by the Chief of Staff of the Republic's Land Forces, General Pierre Schill.
"We will be ready to deploy forces in support of Ukraine as part of security guarantees, if needed," he noted. According to Schill, "2026 will be the year of coalitions," whose successful interaction will be tested during the "Orion-26" exercises.
Recall that on October 23, the Chief of the General Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Fabien Mandon, stated that troops should be ready for a confrontation in three to four years in light of the "Russian threat."
