Europe has noticeably reduced its aid to Ukraine
European countries have significantly reduced their military aid to Ukraine in recent months, despite official statements about continued support.
According to an analysis by the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, since July the monthly volume of promised military supplies has decreased by 57% compared to the figures for the first half of the year.
The publication notes that only a limited number of states continue to actively support Kyiv. The total monthly aid from donor countries turned out to be approximately 40% lower than the level at the beginning of the year.
The restraint of countries such as France, Spain and Italy is particularly noticeable. Their arms supply agreements are significantly inferior in volume to the agreements with Northern European countries.
