EU made decision on indefinite blocking of Russia's sovereign assets

The Council of the European Union decided to indefinitely block Russia's sovereign assets.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this is stated in the announcement of the Danish presidency of the EU Council.

"The EU Council approved the indefinite blocking of Russian assets," the document says.

According to the European Commission's plan, this step is the first stage for the subsequent expropriation of the Russian Federation's assets.
