Ukrainian court has imposed a partial seizure on the property of the country's former Prime Minister and leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party Yulia Tymoshenko.

This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Center of Ukraine.

It is noted that the court seized Y.Tymoshenko's property, including garages, phones, and three cars belonging to her husband. However, they did not touch the funds in the personal account of the leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party, explaining that this is the deputy's only source of income.

Before this, TASS, after reviewing Y.Tymoshenko's property declaration, reported that approximately 5 million dollars had been stored in the accounts of the deputy and her husband for two years. Moreover, 4 million dollars of this amount were in Y.Tymoshenko's account. In court, she said that she received this money from an American company as "moral compensation" for her imprisonment in 2011-2014. The former Ukrainian Prime Minister did not specify the name of the company. She also reported that she transferred these 4 million dollars to her daughter for business operations.

According to the Ukrainian publication "Obozrevatel," the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) suspects Y.Tymoshenko of corruption. An audio recording was published in which, as claimed, the leader of "Batkivshchyna" is whispering instructions to an interlocutor on how to vote correctly, and also mentions the payment amount for voting. This is not about one-time arrangements, but about regular cooperation.

Y.Tymoshenko herself denies all accusations made against her.

Earlier, a deputy from Zelensky's party stated that he did not "turn in" Y.Tymoshenko to NABU.
