Astronomer explained how the Moon will change color during the eclipse in September

The Moon will take on a reddish hue during the total eclipse in September. Astronomer and head of the methodological support department at the Moscow Planetarium, Lyudmila Koshman, told TASS about this.
"In ... September, there will be a total lunar eclipse and the Moon, finding itself in Earth's shadow, will change its color. Its hue will be reddish," Koshman shared.
She added that the full moon on August 9 will be normal, and the color of the Moon will not change.
It is noted that on September 7, a total lunar eclipse will occur, which will last almost 1.5 hours. All phases of the eclipse will be visible in Russia, in the territories of Europe, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, and Oceania.
