Angelina Jolie revealed how she quit her destructive habit

Angelina Jolie admitted that she was a heavy smoker before filming "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" (2001), according to Daily Mail.
According to the actress, she used to smoke up to two packs of cigarettes a day until working on the role motivated her to quit the harmful habit.
"I had to completely change my life and discover capabilities I didn't even know I had," Jolie shared.
For the role of Lara Croft, the actress trained extensively, which helped her not only improve her physical fitness but also quit smoking.
"I worked out several times a day for months: morning, afternoon, and evening. Eventually, I only wanted healthy food, water, and proper rest," she said.
Jolie also noted that after filming was completed, she only allowed herself to smoke a couple of times.
Additionally, on December 6, it was revealed that before her film career, the actress studied mortuary science, planning to become a funeral director. She made this choice after the death of her grandfather.
