An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 struck Turkey.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred in the Saimbeyli district of Turkey's Adana province.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the epicenter of the tremors, recorded at 04:26 local time, was at a depth of 8.6 km.
"Following the magnitude 4.9 earthquake, which was also felt in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Kayseri, and Niğde, no negative consequences have been reported so far. Assessment work on the ground is ongoing. We extend our best wishes to the citizens affected by the event," the statement said.
