23-year-old actress died from a rare disease
American actress Isabelle Tate, who recently debuted in an adult role in the series "9-1-1: Nashville," has passed away at the age of 23. The tragic news was confirmed to Hollywood Reporter by the young star's agent, Kim McCray.
The talented artist died on October 19 after a prolonged battle with a rare neuromuscular disease - Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, which affects the peripheral nervous system.
Isabelle's loved ones shared touching memories of her, describing the young actress as "full of fire, a true fighter, never hiding behind her possible disability." Despite the difficult diagnosis, Tate continued to pursue her dream.
Isabelle's path in the arts began in childhood with acting and modeling work. Later, she received an education at Middle Tennessee State University, specializing in entrepreneurship. Her return to acting in the project "9-1-1: Nashville" became her first significant adult role. Filming of the pilot episode wrapped up in June, and the show premiered just two weeks before the tragedy - on October 6.
The Tate family has asked fans to make charitable donations to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, which spreads information about the rare disease and supports patients and their families, instead of sending flowers.
