Scientists have calculated the time until the end of all life on Earth

In about a billion years - by the year 1,000,002,021 - Earth may lose its habitability for life. This conclusion was reached by a group of Japanese scientists collaborating with NASA, who calculated how much time remains until the end of our planet's biosphere.
According to their forecasts, the brightness and temperature of the Sun will gradually increase, which will lead to the evaporation of oceans and the destruction of Earth's atmosphere.
However, as researchers note, the devastating consequences of excessive solar activity may manifest much earlier. Powerful solar storms can dramatically change the composition of the atmosphere, in particular, reduce oxygen levels, making the planet's surface almost uninhabitable.
Scientists suggest that creating autonomous closed ecosystems and searching for habitable worlds beyond the Solar System could be a possible solution to the situation. According to NASA specialists, technological development will allow the creation of methods to protect against solar radiation and delay the moment when life on Earth completely disappears.
