Vladimir Putin called President Ilham Aliyev

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, following up on their meeting held on October 9 within the framework of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe, discussed a number of current issues on the bilateral agenda.
The heads of state confirmed their mutual commitment to further development of trade and economic ties, implementation of joint projects in energy and transport-logistics spheres.
During the telephone conversation, some aspects of regional cooperation and the international situation were touched upon.
It was agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
