Conor McGregor announced his opponent for the UFC tournament at the White House

Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor, during a conversation with insider Ariel Helwani, spoke about his future in mixed martial arts. In particular, the Irishman again stated that he intends to participate in a UFC tournament at the White House, as reported by "Championship".

"I will return to the White House tournament. All of this gives me pleasure, but I have no illusions... My return to mixed martial arts is the main goal. I would like to meet with [Michael] Chandler... Something good is coming soon," McGregor told Helwani. The video interview is available on the insider's social media page.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that the UFC tournament at the White House will take place on June 14, 2026.
