20-time world champion in motorcycle racing Nikolai Krasnikov died in a car accident near Ufa.

The athlete crashed in his car on the R-240 highway. Nikolai Krasnikov was driving to Ufa from Nizhnekamsk, but around 3 AM he drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a "Gazelle" and a "Citrak". He died from his injuries.
