Warning for those who drink tea and coffee instead of water

In many homes, the morning begins with a cup of tea or coffee, and throughout the day, these beverages replace water for people. It seems that liquid is just liquid.
But doctors warn: such substitution can harm the body, especially with regular consumption.
Dehydration that isn't felt immediately
Tea and coffee contain caffeine, which has a diuretic effect. This means that the body loses fluid faster than it receives it. At first glance, everything seems fine - a person drinks a lot. But in fact, they are gradually losing moisture without replenishing it in sufficient quantities. The result is hidden dehydration, which over time affects the skin, kidneys, and overall well-being.
Increased strain on the heart and blood vessels
Excess caffeine can cause blood pressure spikes, increased heart rate, and even anxiety. This is especially true for people who replace clean water exclusively with coffee and strong tea. The body is in a state of constant stimulation, which can lead to fatigue, sleep disruptions, and overload of the cardiovascular system.
Digestive problems
Tea and coffee stimulate the production of gastric juice. If they are consumed on an empty stomach or in large quantities, this can lead to irritation of the mucous membrane, heartburn, and even gastritis. Water, unlike these beverages, gently cleanses the digestive system and does not provoke aggressive reactions.
Lack of beneficial substances
Some components in tea and coffee make it difficult to absorb vitamins and trace elements, especially iron and calcium. If there is little water and a lot of these beverages in the diet, the body may experience a hidden deficiency, which over time will affect immunity, bones, and energy levels.
Tea and coffee can be part of a healthy diet, but they should not completely replace water. Clean water is necessary for thermoregulation, cell function, toxin elimination, and normal metabolism. Doctors advise drinking at least 1.5-2 liters of water per day, even if you like tea or coffee. Only this way can you maintain health and avoid hidden risks.
