World boxing champion arrested for beating the mother of his children

World Boxing Association (WBA) champion Gervonta Davis arrested in Florida for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, who is the mother of his children. This was reported by WPLG Local 10.

It is noted that the boxer was taken into custody on the morning of July 11. According to investigators, Davis assaulted his ex-girlfriend on the evening of June 15 when he came to pick up their two children. During the process, a verbal altercation occurred between the former lovers, during which the athlete hit the victim on the back of the head and on the lip.

Previously, Davis was arrested twice for domestic violence: in 2020 and 2022.
