Five Products Containing Natural Multivitamins Have Been Named
Some foods can simultaneously provide the body with a whole complex of vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial substances. Among them, the specialist highlighted liver, oysters, sardines, watercress, and eggs.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the publication Deia, this was shared by Yona Herboles, the nutritionist of the football club "Atlético Madrid."
According to the specialist, one of the most nutrient-dense foods is liver. It contains vitamins A and B-group, iron, copper, zinc, choline, as well as complete protein. These elements are essential for blood formation processes, energy production, and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Among the so-called natural "multivitamins," Herboles also included oysters. They are particularly rich in vitamin B12, copper, and zinc. The latter mineral plays an important role in immune function and tissue repair.
The nutritionist paid special attention to sardines. This fish combines several valuable components — protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins D and B12. Fish bones can serve as an additional source of calcium if sardines are consumed whole.
The doctor also considers watercress and other leafy greens a beneficial addition to the diet. With a low calorie count, such foods contain vitamins K and C, folic acid, and antioxidants.
Herboles named eggs as another versatile food. They provide the body with complete protein and a range of vitamins and minerals.
At the same time, the specialist notes that foods with high nutritional value are not a direct replacement for vitamin supplements in cases where a person has been diagnosed with a deficiency of a specific substance. Their advantage lies in the fact that they allow one to obtain several essential nutrients at once as part of a regular balanced diet.
