Strong wind expected in Baku and regions - WARNING

A yellow warning has been issued due to windy weather expected on August 20-21 in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some districts of Azerbaijan.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Jabrayil, Naftalan, Fuzuli, Gazakh, Ganja, Agstafa, Shamkir, Samukh, Tovuz, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Mingachevir, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Goranboy, Goygol, Beylagan, Shirvan, Salyan, Gobustan, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Khachmaz, Siyazan, Shabran, Guba, Khizi, and Gusar, in accordance with the yellow warning, the maximum speed of the northwesterly wind will reach 13.9-20.7 m/s.
