A new color has been discovered, which only five people in the world have seen

In the USA, researchers have reported the discovery of a new color, previously unknown to science. Five lucky individuals who managed to observe it describe the mysterious shade as something between blue and green. This is reported by the authoritative publication The Guardian.

"It's impossible to convey this color in an article or on a monitor. The whole point is that this is not a color that we see, it simply doesn't exist," the publication quotes visual scientist Austin Roord, who emphasizes the uniqueness of the discovery.

American researchers were able to obtain the new color during an innovative experiment in which laser pulses were used to affect the eyes of participants. Through precise stimulation of individual photoreceptor cells in the retina, scientists managed to expand the boundaries of visual perception beyond normal human capabilities.

According to the scientific article published in the prestigious journal Science Advances, the experiment resulted in the appearance of a colored spot on the image, occupying an area approximately twice the size of the full Moon. This amazing color cannot be distinguished with the naked eye in natural light. The new shade, which expands our understanding of the color spectrum, received the laconic name olo.
