Some details have emerged regarding the death of a 9-year-old schoolboy in Shamakhi. According to Baku TV, before the incident, Maksud Jebraily went shopping with his mother. According to his uncle, Kyazym Jebrailov, only Maksud ate the purchased food. After the boy's condition worsened during the day, the child was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with "food poisoning." The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan stated that specialists from the agency, together with employees from relevant departments, have begun investigating the causes of the incident and whether it was indeed food poisoning.
