Harmful substance discovered in imported "slimming teas and coffees"

According to joint information from the Ministry of Health and State Customs Committee, an investigation was conducted regarding "slimming teas and coffees" massively imported into the country through e-commerce. As a result, a potent substance called sibutramine was found in these products.

It is noted that products containing sibutramine are dangerous for the human body and seriously affect health. For this reason, state registration of products containing sibutramine is prohibited.

Professor Adil Geybulla explains that sibutramine is a very dangerous substance and is banned in many countries. Sibutramine increases blood pressure and heart rate, which raises the risk of heart attack and stroke.

According to Adil Geybulla, the suppression of hunger when consuming slimming teas occurs precisely due to this substance.

Both agencies recommend that the population prefer scientifically proven methods of fighting obesity, such as a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, and physical activity, and avoid using such products that are harmful to health.
