Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the victory of the Azerbaijan national team at the Futsal World Cup

The second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, speaking at the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the head of our state on the victory of the Azerbaijan mini-football team at the 2025 World Championship (WC).

"Ilham Heydarovich, I want to congratulate you - the Azerbaijan mini-football team has become the world champion. We saw that there is only one step left to big football, and we sincerely rejoiced at this," noted the head of Uzbekistan.

Recall that the Azerbaijan team became the winner of the World Mini-Football Championship, which was held in Baku. In the final, our team defeated the Hungarian team with a score of 4:2.
