The verdict for Tofig Yagublu has been announced

The trial on criminal cases of National Council member Tofig Yagublu and journalist Elnur Mammadov, who was accused along with him, has concluded.
As Report informs, the verdict was announced in the Baku Court of Serious Crimes presided by judge Elnur Nuriyev.
According to the court's decision, Tofig Yagublu was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment, and Elnur Mammadov to 8 years.
Recall that at the previous hearing, the state prosecutor requested 10 years of imprisonment for Yagublu and 9 years for Mammadov.
Note that T. Yagublu and E. Mammadov were accused under the following articles of the Criminal Code: 178.3.2 (Fraud causing large-scale damage), 320 (Forgery of official documents, state awards, seals, stamps, forms, their illegal production, sale or use of forged documents), 320.1 (Forgery or illegal production of identification documents that grant rights or exempt from duties, as well as production or sale of counterfeit state awards, seals, stamps, forms), 320.2 (Use of knowingly forged documents specified in Article 320.1).
