Scammers are sending fake messages to citizens on behalf of "Azerpost"

Residents of the country have begun receiving fraudulent messages on behalf of "Azerpost" offering to purchase goods listed on online platforms.
This is stated in a message from the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, fraudsters on behalf of "Azerpost" LLC, operating as part of the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON), are sending fake messages through various numbers to citizens who post goods on classified platforms, allegedly with the intention of purchasing these goods.
According to the department, the perpetrators, under the pretext of payment, send fake links to victims, which, when clicked, request bank card data and other personal information.
Citizens are advised to remain vigilant, not trust messages from unknown sources, and verify information through official department channels. The service urged people not to click on suspicious links and not to share personal data and card details with third parties.
