Scientists have solved the secret of pyramid construction in Ancient Egypt
Archaeologists have discovered how stone blocks for the pyramids were delivered to the construction site in Ancient Egypt.
According to scientists, the huge and massive blocks could have been transported to the construction site thanks to the flow of water, or more specifically, along a tributary of the dried-up Nile.
Other studies, however, show that the Egyptians used not only water, but also land logistics. For example, according to the ancient scientist Herodotus, wooden jacks were used for transportation. Some scientists do not rule out the possibility of using earthen ramps, which allowed blocks to be moved up an incline.
