The famous restaurant in Baku will be demolished

In Baku, the roundabout at the intersection of Hasan Aliyev and Ahmed Rajabli streets will be eliminated due to the construction of a car tunnel.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Xəzər TV channel, a well-known restaurant located nearby will also be demolished for this purpose.

According to the information, the relevant work is being carried out by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (SAAAR) as part of a project to build a new highway that will connect H. Aliyev Street with the "Koroglu" metro station. The work is being carried out at an accelerated pace so that the road can be put into operation as soon as possible.

The owners of nearby facilities were notified of the need for demolition. Compensation calculations are currently underway. After their completion, the demolition of the famous "Sheki" restaurant and other buildings that interfere with the construction of the tunnel will begin in the area.

Due to large-scale construction work in this area, traffic is restricted. According to the project manager, the road will be fully operational in about a year and a half.
