Teacher beats student in Azerbaijan - Measures taken

The Ganja-Dashkesan Regional Department of Education conducted an investigation based on a complaint about inappropriate behavior of a teacher towards a student at School No. 34 in Ganja.

As APA reports, this was announced by the department.

It was noted that, considering the inadmissibility of such cases in the educational process, the employment contract with the English language teacher of this educational institution, Javid Rzayev, was terminated.

"Compliance with the rules of ethical behavior of teachers, as well as the safety and psychological state of students are constantly in the focus of attention. Necessary educational work is being carried out in this direction," the statement says.

Recall that earlier, information was spread in the media about a teacher beating a 5th-grade student in the mentioned educational institution.
