Devastating earthquake in Turkey: teenager killed, dozens injured

A powerful earthquake that shook the southwestern coast of Turkey has led to tragic consequences for local residents.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the information about the incident was confirmed by the country's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, in his official statement on social media.
As a result of the natural disaster, one person died, and 69 others received injuries of varying severity.
According to the minister, the victim was a 14-year-old teenager who died due to a panic attack caused by the earthquake. Of those injured, 46 people were hospitalized. Most injuries were received as a result of panic - people fell while fleeing or jumped from heights trying to save themselves.
Ali Yerlikaya specifically emphasized that no serious destruction was recorded in the region. Currently, rescue operations and security measures continue in the area.
