The Azerbaijan national chovgan team has become the European champion for the first time

On June 5-7, the final match of the European Chovgan Championship, organized by the International Chovgan Federation, was held in Poland.

The Azerbaijan national team became the European champion in the competition for the first time.

In the decisive match, the national team confidently defeated Malta with a score of 6:2, thereby winning the championship cup and opening a new page in the history of Azerbaijani chovgan.

It should be noted that 6 countries participated in the tournament that started on June 5 - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hungary, Malta, Poland and Great Britain.

According to the draw results, the first game of the Azerbaijan national team was against Turkey, and our team won this match with a score of 3:0.

In the semifinal stage, our national team maintained its superiority in the fight against Hungary, winning with a score of 4:0.

According to the international chovgan competition calendar, the next major tournaments will be held in early September in Uzbekistan, in late September in Nigeria, and in November in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
