Taxi driver arrested for hiding missing girls at his home in Baku

Taxi driver Ramiz Umudov, who was hiding missing girls at his home in the Sabunchi district of Baku, has been arrested.
As Teleqraf reports, he was charged under Articles 510 (petty hooliganism) and 535.1 (malicious disobedience to a lawful demand of a police officer or military serviceman while performing duties to protect public order) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The case was sent to the Sabunchi District Court. At the hearing presided over by Judge Teymur Hasanov, R.Umudov was found guilty of petty hooliganism and resisting police. According to the decision, he was arrested for 10 days.
Note that on April 16 around 20:00, Aygun Huseynova (born 2008) and Reyhan Huseynova (born 2007) left home and did not return. The underage cousins were found on April 26 at the taxi driver's house in Baku's Mashtaga settlement. Despite being aware of the ongoing search, he deliberately did not inform the police about the girls' whereabouts. For this reason, R.Umudov was detained by officers of the Sabunchi District Police Department and held accountable.
The investigation is under the control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
