Road police addressed drivers

The Main Department of the State Road Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has addressed drivers regarding the sharp deterioration of weather.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the address notes that, according to meteorologists, the strong winds and rains observed throughout the country will continue until March 24.

In this regard, all road users are urged to be extremely careful and strictly follow the rules to avoid possible emergency situations.

"Drivers are advised to adjust their speed according to weather conditions, avoid sudden maneuvers and braking, and not overtake unless absolutely necessary. Owners of trucks, trailers, and tented vehicles should carefully secure transported cargo.

It is also recommended to park vehicles away from trees, advertising structures, and other objects that may fall or be damaged by strong winds. When possible, covered parking should be preferred," the department's statement says.
